Welcome
High-quality clocks have been manufactured in Switzerland for some 300 years, mainly in the crescent-shaped region of the Arc Jurassien and the canton of Neuchâtel. These refined timepieces with their elegant curving lines are known as Neuchâtel clocks.
Formerly made exclusively of limewood, embellished with fine gold leaf and sumptuous painted decorations, they have long contributed towards the renown and expansion of Swiss watchmaking.
Today, Yverdon-Eluxa is one of the last companies in Switzerland to carry on this traditional skill. As in the old days, craftsmen make our clocks entirely by hand, in small numbers.
Our catalogue displays a collection of 12 different models, all faithful to the spirit and tradition of Swiss watchmaking.
In parallel with our production sector, we also have a repair workshop, which is at your disposal for all maintenance and restoration of Neuchâtel clocks.
We hope you enjoy your visit, and look forward to meeting you! |
